SummerFest Horse Trials – August 6, 2022

Please Note: The Horse Trial fields at Unicorn Farm have been renamed Buckworth LLC Field

IMPORTANT: Current Coggins and proof of Flu/Rhino in the past 6 months required. Signed release forms are required at registration. Payment must be made in full to get a starting time.

A Jockey Club T.I.P. High Point Thoroughbred Award will be given to the highest placing Thoroughbred for each division as follows:

Elementary High Point Thoroughbred

Introductory High Point Thoroughbred Award

Beginner Novice High Point Thoroughbred Award

Novice High Point Thoroughbred Award

Training High Point Thoroughbred Award

TIP number must be included with registration in order to be eligible for TIP points.

SAPC Starter Horse Trials Series

Series End Awards (Division Champion and Division Reserve Champion)

The same horse/rider combination must compete in at least 2 of the 3 events and will only count for the highest division entered. 

Points will be awarded for 1st through 6th place

HORSE TRIALS:

$110 – per horse/ rider combination

$100 – for Pony Club Members/4H Members /Mid Atlantic Horse Rescue graduates

Refunds will be processed before the Closing Date, less a $15 admin fee.

Courses open for walking Friday August 5, at 3PM.

Rider packets will be available for pick up with the Secretary the morning of the event.

PLEASE! We have limited parking and, in our efforts, to safely park all vehicles, drivers are asked to observe the directions of parking lot attendants.

Concessions will be available through Brimar’s Italian Ice & Eats

COVID Restrictions, if any, will be based on current CDC and Maryland State guidelines.

All entries and payments will be submitted online.  Ride times will be assigned to those who submit a completed online entry form, current Coggins and flu/rhino, and payment (via PayPal).

The Show Secretary will NOT be checking Coggins or accepting payments the day of the show.

Proceeds benefit St. Augustine Pony Club. Dogs are welcome but must be always on a leash.
